The Levant is the place where the sun rises, geographically it covers the region bordering the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This region hosted a vast variety of cultures through history creating what is now known as the Levantine Cuisine which is the specialty of Ammatoli.

AMMATOLI is distinctive and extraordinarily fresh and healthy. We use only the finest quality ingredients, honoring the traditional recipes and exotic flavors from the cuisines of the Levant... and served in a warm and welcoming ambiance!

Our Mediterranean influenced kitchen gains inspiration from the best cuisine the Levant has to offer. Our fresh creative menu items are always made from scratch. The result is a cuisine that is tasty and exotic. Levantine food is the epitome of the Mediterranean diet, healthy food, high on vegetables and big on flavor!

Four of us tried Ammatoli for the second time and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The only small issue for us is that we were seated by a table for eight or more and the noise level went up by many notches. But that won't keep us from going back. Try it, you'll like it.

Was great experience. Loved the authentic Palestinian/Jordanian food. Service was excellent and the ambiance was great. Highly recommend it.

The best meal I've had in a long while. The flavors are exquisite. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely, with plenty of Fairuz songs to set the mood. We had roasted beet labneh, the eggplant dip (like baba ganouj), lemon chicken, lemon olive oil cake, and other small plates and enjoyed every bite. We even came back two days later. HIGHLY recommend.

A true gem in Long Beach! Ammatoli was a great choice, far exceeding our expectations. Chef Dima's passion really shines through in every component of her restaurant. From the moment you enter, the ambiance brings you to the calmness of her vision, and travels. Exquisite touches of decor welcomes you into a Mediterranean setting, far away from Long Beach CA, esp the unique location name signage translated into Arabic. Hospitality was cheerful, polite, and respectful. The food is incredibly delicious, from the made to order Pita bread, to the amazing spread of Mezza - the falafel & grapes leaves were outstanding. Our mains were shared, the sea bass, & Palestinian chicken were both a hit for us. The rice accompanying the sea bass was especially flavourful enough, not to downplay the fish. While the onion sauce that came with the roasted chicken was best enjoyed in the same mouthful with the paired cucumber yogurt salad. Do not miss the Turkish coffee. The quality beans and ritual, both delighted us. And of course the Baklava - light, nutty, and lovely fragrant to wrap the meal into a most satisfying experience.
