The Levant is the place where the sun rises, geographically it covers the region bordering the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This region hosted a vast variety of cultures through history creating what is now known as the Levantine Cuisine which is the specialty of Ammatoli.

AMMATOLI is distinctive and extraordinarily fresh and healthy. We use only the finest quality ingredients, honoring the traditional recipes and exotic flavors from the cuisines of the Levant... and served in a warm and welcoming ambiance!

Our Mediterranean influenced kitchen gains inspiration from the best cuisine the Levant has to offer. Our fresh creative menu items are always made from scratch. There are three of us and we enjoyed a three item Meza with each dish being delectable served with freshly made pita. The lemon garlic chicken was outstanding! We shared the entrée and still had enough left over for lunch the next day. I would recommend without reservation. we had to try a dessert and liked our waiter so much we had him Select and he brought us a concoction with a rich ice cream, dates and feather spun sugar on top. It was amazing and again we couldn’t finish at all. It was, however, a perfect end to a perfect meal.

Delighted to have made the drive to Long Beach to eat at this gem. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was truly delicious (flavorful, innovative, and beautifully presented). We shared the Mutabbal (fire roasted eggplant), the Labneh with roasted beets (a standout dish), an order of fresh pita and the spinach Kibbeh as appetizers, followed by the Ouzi lamb chops and the spicy garlic lemon chicken as our mains. All of our dishes were excellent! Made a 5:15 reservation and the place filled up before 6:30, so it became increasingly loud, but not uncomfortably so. Wish that I lived nearby because I would dine here regularly!

Loved our whole experience! The setting is gorgeous; definitely took my time to take in the design. Our waiter was fun and gave us great recommendations. Food was very very tasty and memorable. We started off with pita and spicy humus, kibbeh and halloumi! So delicious! For mains, we had chicken kebabs, lamb and the sea bass. More deliciousness. What a wonderful evening. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Hands down the best Mediterranean food in Long Beach! The food was incredible & so so fresh. Not to mention the ambiance is gorgeous- every corner is decorated to perfection! We had awesome service & received our food quickly. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant & always recommend to any friends or family in the area. We love Ammatoli!

It was our first time at Ammatoli and it was amazing! The food, the aesthetic, the experience was great! We went for my dad’s birthday and he loved it! So glad my dad and family enjoyed this place!
