The Levant is the place where the sun rises, geographically it covers the region bordering the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This region hosted a vast variety of cultures through history creating what is now known as the Levantine Cuisine which is the specialty of Ammatoli.

AMMATOLI is distinctive and extraordinarily fresh and healthy. We use only the finest quality ingredients, honoring the traditional recipes and exotic flavors from the cuisines of the Levant... and served in a warm and welcoming ambiance!

Our Mediterranean influenced kitchen gains inspiration from the best cuisine the Levant has to offer. Our fresh creative menu items are always made from scratch. We booked via open table the same day. Service was quick, and friendly. The food was delicious, good portion sizes. My wife and I ordered the Hummus and Pita. The pita comes as three large blown up bread. The hummus was delicious. For entree: we both had the Ammatoli shawarma gyro style and a side of rice. We had enough food to carry a plate with us. The waiter Peter was friendly, he knew the menu and was able to make suggestions. We will return the next time we are in Long Beach.

The food was AMAZING - One of the best Mediterranean / Leventine restaurants we've been to . We will definitely be back! The server seemed newer and unsure of many things , but was trying his best.

The food was fantastic, fresh and delicious Wow amazing time with friends! Mason our server was kind, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and suggested amazing meals! Definitely Top 10 Long Beach destination

This is my 3rd experience with Ammatoli and I have to say was very much below the standards that I was expecting after my earlier visits, especially since we drove from San Diego especially so my wife can try it. To start, portions were definitely cut by half, if not more, while the prices were the same if not increased. Add to that, service was slow and at the end, I was sitting on a cleaned, emptied table waiting for my check for at least 10 minutes. What kind of pushed my towards “i will not be coming here again” is that they add a 22% gratuity to the bill without telling us before hand that this applies to parties 5 & above, and the fact that the 5th person they counted is a 2 year old baby !! They must have thought he ordered a entree or something. I used to rave about this place to anyone asking for a recommendation for the best ME food, unfortunately, never again.

Went with the family and had a great time. Service was great and food was extraordinary. Waiter was very helpful as it was our first time. We will be going back. Recommend a reservation as there was a line on Saturday afternoon: place is very popular.

My two teens and I had a wonderful dinner out for my birthday. We ordered some delicious bread (Fatayer) as an appetizer, and then shared the Spicy Garlic Lemon Chicken and Sea Bass with their Mediterranean Fries for dinner. For dessert we shared the Ka'ak Date Cookies and Lemon Olive Oil Cake. Everything was delicious! I'd give it 6 starts if I could. We'll definitely be back.
