We simply did not enjoy the food. We had high expectations of our dining experience due to the reviews and reputation of the restaurant and were thoroughly disappointed. We tried 4 different dishes and out of the 4 felt 1 was enjoyable and up to standard of what we’d expect from this quality of restaurant. We enjoyed the flaming sausage dish. We did not feel the meat of our main entrees was seasoned well, if at all, and the meat, although tender, was dry. Overall disappointed in our dining experience

I’d like to sincerely apologize for using the term “mean-spirited” in my previous response—perhaps we reacted emotionally. As chefs, we pour a little of ourselves into every dish, so when those efforts don’t resonate, it can feel personal. That’s not an excuse, just context for why reviews like yours can be tough to hear. I’m truly sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We joined two friends for the NYE five-course meal. Several courses included meat. Being pescatarian, i requested alternatives to the meat dishes. Amilinda's chef contacted me personally to verify the name of the party we were joining and had the sous chef create two tasty alternative dishes for my dining pleasure. Our server was polite and accommodating when I had to "cancel" my wine pairing (husband locked car keys in car, so I would be driving later). While the pairing was prepaid, she sent us home with a bottle of champagne to enjoy safely back home.

The whole vibe of the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive. When we first walked in the host was so nice. The food and wine was excellent.

My duck breast was wonderfully prepared as was my partner's rabbit. The one think lacking was a piece of bread to sop up every last bit of the savory sauces, but alas none was served to us. Other tables had it, so I think it was simply an oversight on a busy night. We didn't have the opportunity to flag down our waitress to ask for some as we had a performance to get to.

Amilinda delivers another great dining experience - as they always do. Gregory Leon and his awesome staff make dining with them so enjoyable, from great service to amazing food and drink. Amilinda is such a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal and a night out.
