We had to modify our reservation by half an hour due to traffic back up from VP downtown so not the problem of the restaurant but it was 8pm so took a bit to get drinks and the mushroom entree only had two small mushrooms in it literally- they refunded that meal but was not a sufficient portion for a meal. Appetizers and other entrees were delishous but for the price the mushroom entree was lacking. We’ll try it another time earlier in the evening.

out of the 5 entrees offered, there were only 2 left when we ordered... neither of which would have been our first or second choices. food was ok. we won't be going back

Thanks for visiting us at Amilinda. We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your meals as much as we would have liked you to. We strive to offer a variety of options that cater to our customers' preferences, but it seems we fell short during your visit that evening. I am wondering if at any point during your visit you expressed your dissatisfaction to any of the staff members? We would of loved to have been given the chance to turn your visit around by offering you something else, making you something off menu or even comping your visit - we certainly don't want anyone to pay for something they did not enjoy. Sadly it looks like you did not and instead opted for just complaining online. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly use it to improve our offerings and service.

My husband and I had an anniversary dinner there recently and had an outstanding meal. I highly recommend it!

We ate here on a recent Saturday night and came away disappointed. The first problem was the service. Our waitress seemed to be very uninterested in taking care of us. When we asked her to give us a tour of the menu and her recommendations, she basically said, "You order food on the menu and we bring it." No wine suggestions, no food recommendations, no small plates or large plates suggestions. She took three trips to deliver four drinks for some reason. The last one came fifteen minutes after the first. We had a 7:15 reservation and got our main dishes about 90 minutes later. Some of the food was good. They have a very limited menu of 5 entrees and the chicken was pretty good but filled with bones. The shrimp appetizer was tasty. My fellow diner was unimpressed with the Hangar steak dish. Two of us ordered the Monkfish and both found it to be bland and rubbery. We all tried it to confirm and it just wasn't good. At the end they gave us a small cookie/macaroon type thing with the bill which is a nice gesture but even that was grainy and not really good. I had heard good things and hoped for better. For $230 including tip I expect a lot better and usually get it at a number of other fine restaurants downtown.

Great food and the chef even came over and made sure everything was great at our table. Would highly recommend as a place to eat reasonably in Milwaukee. Our waiter was just OK though (might have been new). Overall, highly recommend.

The food and sangria were delicious, but portion sizes are small for what you pay. Waiter was friendly and welcoming.

We love the atmosphere, the food is tasty and the cocktails are fantastic. Service is great but they seem to be overloaded, perhaps thats to be expected on a Saturday night. We thought it might be nice to have some soft music playing in the background. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed this.The asparagus appetizer was great and seemed to be a favorite around us also.She had the fish,I had the porkbelly and both were great.We had a peach/rasberry cobbler and chocolate tart,both great.Andrea was our waitress and she was very attentive and knowledgeable while spacing the courses just right.We'll be going back.
