First visit since restaurant changed from Cote which was our favourite. Slightly disappointed the Onion soup had disappeared and the starters were not that enticing, ie bread with no oil/balsamic. We all chose minute steak which was tasty and well presented, the portions are on the small side but they are very reasonably priced. Service was good, polite and attentive. Our server apologised initially that they had a delay serving, but we were done and dusted within an hour which was fine for our group.

Restaurant is pleasant with lots of seating. Food was ok. Had to send the chicken back twice as it was dry & tough. Service was poor & staff more interested in checking their phones. We ran out of time for dessert & chose not to pay service charge. Staff were sarcastic & rude. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are lots of lovely alternatives in Amersham.

Food was fine and tasty but slow in delivery. Ambience was good and toilets clean. Table service was slow. The menus were grubby, stained and being one of the first items inview, sent a poor message about the management or its finances. Hopefully they'll act on this review.

Terrible experience. Sat down at half 11 for breakfast and were asked immediately what we wanted to drink. It took 15 minutes or so to recieve our coffees however and we had to ask to order food. By half 12 we asked how long our food would be and were told it was coming immediately. 15 minutes later two small plates of food arrived. The poached eggs were overcooked and the avocado was a smooth paste, almost like the kind you'd buy from a supermarket. The vegan sausage was a hard patty that was obviously a frozen one, and the bacon was apparently fatty and tasteless. We ate because we were very hungry and had waited over an hour and 15 minutes at this point, but were extremeley disappointed in the dishes. They removed the food from our bill which was really the only acceptable thing they could do at this point, but we definitely wouldn't come back. The table next to us also waited as long without any updates from staff.

The most awful dining experience I've ever had. Food took 1.5 hours to arrive, during which time we had been left completely alone except for when we physically got up to find our server and ask what was happening. It was even difficult to place a second drinks order with one of the managers who was not at all interested in our wait, and rudely urged us to order the drinks. When the food arrived two meals were overcooked, cold, and very dried out. One meal wasn't at all as described. The second manager actually poked the food on the plates with his fingers before asking us what we wanted him to do. He then suggested we "eat and go". Thankfully he had the good sense not to charge us.

Great service, varied menu, something for everyone. This is my 5th visit, and I’ll be back again.

First time since change of name from Cote but a very pleasant experience. Food was good and service was pleasant and friendly. We will return.

Staff ok Food ok Service slow Ran out of clean plates so one of our diners had to have his starter on a saucer Wouldn’t rush back
