Amerigo is a neighborhood Italian restaurant offering a a blend of traditional and modern Italian cuisine to guests throughout the southeast. Since opening our doors in Ridgeland, MS over three decades ago, Amerigo has remained a local Italian favorite for the Jackson, Memphis, and Nashville areas, and we are thrilled to now be serving the Huntsville community! Each of our locations share many of the same original Amerigo menu items with local inspiration and ingredients where available. Our dedication to serving guests fresh Italian meals in a warm, inviting atmosphere is at the core of each of our restaurants.

Authentic Italian pasta, hand-made pizzas, fresh seafood and grilled chops and steaks offer something for everyone at Amerigo. A lunch, dinner, and early bird menu is offered daily, along with weekend brunch.

Food is consistently delicious, especially the salmon! Service above and beyond! Noise level not so high that you can't have good conversations.

The food way only okay and the server seemed bothered by our party. None of us ate more than half and even less of the dessert. We were surprised after hearing such good things from others. I would have much preferred Olive Garden.

Amerigo is an excellent Italian restaurant. I got the lasagna for about the fifth time my wife had the spaghetti and meatball the food was very good. The service outstanding we went for the early bird specials, which are between four and six and our outstanding value.

Service was very slow and we had an issue with the final bill. The manager was very accommodating and wrote of the balance of our bill because of the error.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Amerigo in Huntsville on Valentine’s Day, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a special evening. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel truly special. Now, let’s talk about the food—wow! Every bite was perfection. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Italian goodness. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the portions generous. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just craving phenomenal Italian cuisine, Amerigo is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu! Highly recommend!

Excellent dinning. Quick, courtesy service, and outstanding atmosphere. Wait staff was excellent. Highly recommend for that special night out with that special person.
