    Unfortunately it was not a good experience from the beginning. The bar service was so slow that it took 30 minutes to get drinks to the table. The wait staff was unorganized, appetizers were small portions as was the main course. Mocktails were incorrect and the cappuccinos came out lukewarm. I understand that this is run by students but there was no oversight/ management and their engagement with the guests was lacking. Needless to say we will not be dining there again especially for the price.

    I would have rated Overall to be OUTSTANDING as Food was excellent. Even the waiter service and everyone at the restaurant was very good. The unfortunate thing is the person I spoke with on the phone. Our reservation was at 1245pm on Saturday, 9/28. I called at 1153am to inform them that our original reservation of 4 will now be 2 as the couple who was to be with us called us to say they were not feeling well. The gentleman who took the call was very rude. I indicated to him that we will be there in 30 minutes. He then told me that they could only wait for 15 minutes and they would cancel. I then proceeded to tell him that I said I would be there in 30 minutes therefore on or around 1230pm, in advance of our reservation. I said that he may have misunderstood me. He then said to me that he did not want to argue but that he has a recording of what I said. And he said this quite rudely. He is a customer service representative of the CIA. He could have simply just said that he may have misunderstood but to tell me had a recording! That was terrible. He mishandled that call. I suggest that you better train the people who take calls and handle them better. It leaves a very negative experience for your customers. I was close to canceling my reservation. Glad I did not because our dining experience was GREAT!

    Always a great experience. The food was wonderful, with great presentation. The value is better than most local restaurants.

    We were disappointed in the quality of the meals and the attention to detail. This venue is supposed to be 5-star, I mean, the CUA....the training ground for world class chiefs and food management. We did not have that experience, and when we brought our concerns regarding the food to the attention of those in supervision, we received a mediocre response.

    A delightful lunch in the American Bounty room. Meal preparation was excellent, flavorful sauces and outstanding presentation

    We relied on Roxanne Owens to set us up for lunch for a large group. She did. And we changed - very often! Thank you Roxanne. As for the lunch, it was excellent in both American and French - food and service. Sundar Subramaniam

    The menu gives a diner great options to expand their palate, while not straying too far from their comfort zone. Food presentation and preparation were outstanding. Crudo, pasta, hanger steak were amazing. If you miss getting exceptional service, this should be your next dining experience.

    It was a wonnderful special dinner experience and we definitely will return! The Campus was beautiful too so we were glad we came early! We live on the Jersey City waterfront and often dine in NY! The food was exceptional….loved the scallops, lovely salad, and dessert was rich and delicious! My only suggestion would be to the servers. We felt each course was rushed and the waitress kept peeking to see if we had finished! She was lovely and personable however and even a quick tour of the kitchen !! Easy parking too. The price point was appropriate and the lovely background music was soft and perfect !!! Thanks for such a nice experience!!! 😊
