This is our 2nd visit this year to the Savoy and once again could not fault the whole experience and service from start to finish. We were greeted by name upon arrival and our server in the American bar *gordana i believe* was impeccable and made us feel most at home.

Thought this bar was a must do in London but underwhelming to say the least. Could have been anywhere once seated. We had an early booking pre show maybe later is better once pianist kicks in. Nice alcohol free selection of drinks which was encouraging.

A lovely experience celebrating my son’s 21st birthday, the staff wished him happy birthday and we were given a glass of complimentary champagne each which was such a lovely gesture. Would love to do it again.

We enjoyed a relaxed afternoon together in the iconic American Bar, as the Afternoon Tea in the Foyer was fully committed unfortunately, before our West End Show. We had the pleasure to be served by Gloria, Ethan and Tom - who were most attentive and assisted us with our orders. The food was delicious and overall The Savoy, which is the only 5-star establishment on the River Thames, with its old world charm and incredible history is definitely a must to experience when visiting London.

Due to the numerous accolades it has received and its history this visit was on our bucket list. The positives: a beautiful hotel, excellent cocktails and a warm welcome when we arrived at the bar. However, the whole experience was a little flat. Due to the location of our table it felt like we were in a posh lobby. There was little atmosphere (admittedly we did go when the pianist wasn’t playing) and our initial server greeted us like she was reading from a script. The drinks were high quality but for the price they are not good value. It was ok but there are numerous other cocktail bars I would go to over this that are more stylish and cooler for half the price. Underwhelming.
