Booked American bar and was not disappointed. Yes, drinks are more expensive but ambience and staff more than compensate. Pianist was outstanding, special thanks to our waiter Leo who was charming, pleasant and a lovely chap. Spent a lovely Sat evening there and we will return

We chose to book the American cocktail bar for pre show drinks for a special birthday. We felt very welcome from the moment we walked up to the lady on the door. She was very friendly welcoming and wished my friend happy birthday. We were then catered for and well looked after by our server (apologies didn't get a name, blonde lady). She was friendly and approachable and ensured our drinks were topped up. We were made to feel very welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. A wide range of drink options at reasonable prices considering you are at the Savoy. Cannot wait to return.

Once again we had an amazing time at the American bar. The service was impeccable; friendly and helpful without intruding. Our host was new to the role but had obviously been well trained and was very professional. The drinks were amazing! Loved every moment of this experience and can’t wait to go again.

I did not order food off the menu so I based my rating on the bar snacks of nuts and olives.

We booked a table in the American Bar and it didn't disappoint, it was for our wedding anniversary so our children treated us and the whole experience was fantastic, we were made to feel very special and the attention to detail was outstanding - even receiving a complimentary glass of champagne to finish !

Our visit to the American Bar was excellent. For us it was all about having a one-off experience - the people and place being important ingredients. We booked ahead, the bar was full but despite arriving slightly late were offered a very nice table anyway. Callum our waiter was full of charm, humour and looked after us very well indeed. We ordered both the Corpse Reviver #1 and #2 in succession which I totally recommend in that order. The glassware was on point as one might expect. The pianist played softly and was a nice compliment to the general atmosphere. Great experience.
