It was freezing cold inside the restaurant. We made a reservation to sit outside on the patio and they shut it down when we got there. About half of our meats were undercooked. Service was kind, but slow.

Food was amazing! We were celebrating a birthday and the service was not pleasant. I watched our server stop at other tables, yet neglect our table. Not a great service experience.

I booked for a small (two adults, one 12-year-old child) birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening at 7. With traffic being light that day, I messaged Ambar Shaw via Open Table, while on our way, that we would be early (6:30). They responded very quickly and said it was no problem at all. We absolutely loved this restaurant. We were at a table at the bar upstairs, it wasn’t too busy or loud and we were nearby windows to be able to see outside. I will say the crowd was somewhat light that evening so I can’t speak to what it’s like on an extremely busy night. The food and service were fantastic. We did the unlimited small plates and all tried and shared different things throughout the evening. We never felt rushed to finish and the servers’ timing was great - we had enough time to sample and share (and “rest” between orders) before the server came back around. This was a fun and delicious experience with new foods and tastes that my 12-year-old son even enjoyed. He is now in love with their steak fries - in the “top 2 ever!” In my view, for the variety of dishes, the unlimited menu may seem expensive - but - not for an upscale meal in D.C. with an abundance of choices to try and not for what you get (at least in my opinion). Note that kids get a reduced price for the unlimited plates. They have a well-balanced variety (apps, main courses) of what we viewed as exotic food that was wonderful, with flavorful and interesting spice combinations to try that provided a welcome backdrop for our small party. We didn’t try everything of course but what we did try we enjoyed. They also offered an allergen guide to their menu that our server left with us so we could make allergen-free choices. I also sampled three of their white wines (by the glass) and was pleased with the one I ultimately chose: it went well with the small plate selections we made, was unique in flavor notes and was refreshing on a hot summer evening.

Very nice place for dinner. We really enjoyed our party there. I strongly recommend this place.

Very cool dining experience where you can taste mani things at once. Super cool and fun with a crowd. Pretty busy on the weekends so I wouldn’t reccomend if you’re looking for a more “chill” or quieter vibe to chat with w friend. But if you’re a foodie this is great. My only complaint is with our server who I wish was more attentive towards the folks with bottomless drinks. Often times they were empty which ruins the bottomless point. Lastly, we had a table of 6 and I thought each person could just receive their own check given that it is a set price for food and beverage. There’s no items to itemize. It’s basically just 2 prices- food or drink. Some people did the bottomless drink option while others did not. Server just told us to either put it on one card and it’s only a 4 dollar difference if we split it evenly. I thought this was not really fair (as not everyone got alcohol) and I didn’t understand why everyone couldn’t get their own check if the prices are set.. I just felt like she did not want to do it but I don’t understand why. For other tables she pulled out a device to split the bill rather than a paper check, so why couldn’t we get the same. Odd especially for w birthday or experience shared with friends

I celebrated the Dad’s in my life all weekend and this was my less favorite of the weekend. Service and ambience great - food very slow to come out and just ok. I enjoyed the mimosas and service the most.

Booked brunch after seeing great reviews. We were so disappointed. Food was not good. Eggs Benedict were cold. Service was slow, she spent too much time on her phone. Great concept just not executed well.

We had a good dinner and an excellent server. He was attentive and kind! The fans on the back patio were blowing so hard our food got cold and eyes were watering. It was 70° and not humid so we wished they would’ve turned the fans off or down. Otherwise good experience
