    Ambar is offering two seating options, the first is from 5 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., which includes unlimited small plates with New Year’s Eve specials priced at $79.99 per person (tax and gratuity not included, and guests are limited to two-hour time limit). The second seating, from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., is priced at $89.99 per person (tax and gratuity not included) which includes unlimited small plates with New Year’s Eve specials. Guests can also enjoy discounted selected drinks for $4.99 per drink. DJ will start spinning at 9pm.

    The restaurant was packed for the holiday season! Loved the small bites concept, as we got to try so many different dishes. Loved the hangar steak, pickled vegetables, all the salads, pulled pork egg Benedict; Balkan sausage, OK basically almost everything except the potato hash, which was meh. A great festive meal and ambiance!

    All the food was excellent, food came out in good intervals. The room was very noisy for my parents in their 80s but they enjoyed the variety of the food. We will return!

    This time the food and service were both average. You would expect the opposite at the start of holiday season when groups are out celebrating and enjoying the spirit of the season.

    The food was fantastic. The waiter may have been part owner. If not, he should be. He was excellent. I have a son with Celiac, and they dedicate an area of the kitchen to cook for allergies. My son has never been able to order so many things at a restaurant, and by far his favorite experience.

    They literally tell you, “Time’s Up” after you’ve been there almost 2 hours. We didn’t get served immediately, had to wait to have our order taken but “Time’s Up”. I could see if the place was crowded, but there were literally 2 other tables of guests in the entire restaurant. I won’t be back. Time’s Up

    The Eggplant moussaka along with the Yaga roasted lamb were super salty. The Grilled shrimp ended up being overcooked. The Cauliflower was lukewarm. The Forest mushroom crepe had nice earthy taste but we had bits of what was possibly eggshells in them. The Pepper and Cheese croquettes interesting and worth a try. The first order of fried chicken we received was delicious and the next one, although still crispy, the chicken was bland. The Steak tartar was marinated beautifully, one of the most flavorful tartars we have had to date. The white flatbread was good, bordering salt. The Urnebes spread was delicious with a buttery texture! The Beef Short Rib Goulash was so rich with flavorful, just bit greasy. For dessert we had the raspberry cake. Not deep with flavor. But my only wish for the Baklava was that there was more!
