Food quality/taste varied by dishes (partly due to level of seasoning). Better to go in a bigger group if you want to try more dishes. Cute interiors. Staffs were pleasant and nice.

Food and drinks were awesome. The chocolate cake isn’t chocolate like most would think but it’s still delicious. I love the flowers and decor of this place and would dine here again.

We love Ambar, and particularly this location because it is large and the decor is beautiful. We took our friends there to celebrate one of their birthdays, and they both really enjoyed the experience, too. We all got the unlimited menu plus dessert, and while there were a few food misses, having lots of small plates quickly delivered is a really fun eating experience. Also: their non-alcoholic drinks are delicious--kudus to Ambar for making really good options available for those of us who are choosing not to drink or no longer drink. Hope to see more restaurants doing this.

The food was okay, the tapas small Plates were pretty small, not meant to share but truly Meant for to one person. The service was good, which allowed us to put in multiple orders. The food was okay, I’d suggest getting and trying dishes before over ordering.

I was new to Balkan food and was very impressed with the lamb dishes. The service was prompt and polite, and the prices were very reasonable.

Brought my ‘fresh off the boat’ Bulgarian darling here for brunch after we worked up an appetite hiking all over Arlington Nat’l cemetery. The Ambar folks happily and generously brought him copious amounts of authentic Balkan delicacies to satiate him. Our flight of rakia went a long way to alleviate his homesickness for Bulgarian “moonshine” treats. Shoutout to manager Valentine and server Camilla for pampering us so nicely! Will have to try Ambar’s other locations and meals some time.😋

We visited this place 7 years ago, loved it! And have been telling friends to try it out. This time, the vibe and the food (a la carte menu is embarrassing) were very different. Didn’t enjoy the visit.
