The salmon Benedict with inedible. Cold, undercooked eggs. Salmon was too hard/tough to eat.

We loved everything about our experience at Ambar, Arlington. However, our server, Natasha, is who made the experience so pleasant and memorable. She familiarized us with the menu and helped us make the best choices. She made sure our drinks were never empty. We felt like she was genuinely happy to know and serve us. The host/hostess were so warm and welcoming. We live in Chicago, but we will return to Ambar during our upcoming trips to the DC area. The food and atmosphere were great. The service even better.

The brunch was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was tasty and the mimosas very reasonably priced. This is my new favorite brunch spot in the DC area.

Food was good I like it. The only thing I didn’t like was the table location. Reserved outside because of the nice day but the table was around a corner . Asked for a re location and relocation was offered but after some serving so to much trouble to move, but overall good experience

Love Ambar‘s AYCE tapas dining experience and especially the neighborhood feel of the Clarendon location but I do hope they do their special Restaurant Week more often. This RW tasting was next level and showcased all that we appreciate about Balkan cuisine. Despite how busy it was, service was spot on and our young waitress was warm, friendly, and attentive. This was one of those menus when I wished my stomach was bigger than my eyes (wink). If someone doesn’t know Ambar, they are missing out.

I’ve read so many positive reviews of Ambar that Restaurant Week seemed to be the perfect time to try it. I was not disappointed. The small plates let you try such an incredible variety of delicious foods that I think more restaurants should do this! The soup, goulash, and salmon were the standouts for me. Our server could not have more helpful or attentive. The ambience was not as comfortable as I had hoped & the volume was a bit loud. I discovered the speak easy BABA at the end of my visit & I appreciated the vibe there more. I look forward to returning!
