L'ambiance est tropicale au Causa, le restaurant et salon primé et très coloré. Get the lomo saltado or at least share with others at the table with a ceviche or some type of raw fish dish to start. Fantastic desserts. This is one of my and my boyfriend’s favorite restaurants in DC.

My husband and I got a gift card for Christmas for here, and when we went to pay, we were informed that they don’t use that company anymore, so we had to pay out of pocket. This was a disappointment, as we had saved it for a special occasion. That being said, the food was amazing and delicious.

The food here was absolutely amazing. We had a couple of cocktails as well that were fantastic. One of the best meals we have ever eaten.

The only issue I had was the confusing messaging about mandatory service charges and tips. The menu clearly stated that a 20% mandatory gratuity was being charged. However the server gave a confusing about it (that it would go to all workers but if I paid an additional tip it would go to him) and the bill still had a tip line. Pick one or the other please!

The food was excellent! I brought 3 Peruvians with me who are all picky about Peruvian food, so I was a little nervous, but they were all very impressed.

Wonderful experience. Delicious food, many options for my gf and df needs. Best part was the staff, the kindest most welcoming people. Everything about this restaurant was divine.

Loved the ambiance and the service. Drinks were fabulous. My only negative was that the one expensive fish item we got tasted fishy. Wasn’t expecting that - especially for the $$$$
