From environment to cuisine and vibe, experience the dynamic energy, local ingredients, and natural beauty of Biscayne Bay that defines what living in Miami is all about through the lens of James Beard Award-winning chef/restauranteur Michael Schwartz.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests during these unprecedented times. Our outdoor seating is spacious, with many tables on our covered terrace.

Incredible second time at Amara. We requested a reservation by the water, but the area was closed due to weather. The hostess on Saturday Nov 30 was the sweetest, so accommodating and considerate of the fact that we were there for a birthday lunch. Food was delicious as usual. This is definitely the recurring birthday lunch spot for our family every time <3

This was hands down our favorite restaurant and meal of our trip! My fiancé and I come to South Beach a few times a year and are big foodies, so we always love to try new restaurants. Being on the waterfront and having a good seafood selection is what drew us in. The steak empanadas and seafood paradilla was amazing, probably the best prawns and empanadas we ever had. We will definitely come back on a future trip.

I reserved a table by the water for my wife and I, the view was beautiful and it was a lovely night. The staff was pleasant. We just wanted to have a nice happy hour date. Unfortunately, I was not aware that their happy hour specials are not available outside and only inside the restaurant. We didn’t really prefer any of their drinks but they had no problems making us bourbon mules and they were very good. We had the fish dip and ceviche appetizers and they were delicious. Overall it was a good experience at an upscale restaurant. Would go back for some of their menu items like the parrilladas or their short ribs.

The short ribs was good as were the empanada. Everything else was overly salty. My guests ordered the smoked turkey dinner, sides, and lamb sausage. They were way too salty to eat. At the high cost of this meal, we should have been able to eat it. The service was good.

The thanksgiving dinner was excellent! The turkey had an amazing flavor. My in-laws coming out of town loved of all it. Thanks for making our thanksgiving celebration memorable!

The food was below average. I think I am being generous here. The view if you are seated outside is beautiful. The valet will rip you off. I received a email from the restaurant tell me the valet will charge $25 - when i parked the valet told me $45 - I said I got an email that said it will be $25 and the valet manager told me, well that is for normal cars - you are driving a luxury car so it is $45. Total rip off. The guys don't even speak English, and they think they can charge you $45 for parking you car. I am never going there again.
