In Lebanon, food is an essential part of all family and social gatherings, with bold flavors, colorful vegetables, and vibrant proteins fresh from the marketplace. Prepared simply and with passion, our cold and hot mezze, various grilled meats, kebabs, fresh seafood, and creative homemade desserts offer something for everyone, including an abundance of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

The last time we enjoyed amar we dined at their original location. Now at the former Mellow Mushroom this bigger, more atmospheric locale is elevating Amar to Michelin status. Griselda our server was excellent and we dined on a Wednesday with half-off wines. The pairing with our food and a Turkish coffee with cardamom at dessert with an Aish was tremendous. PS A billing hiccup was easily resolved after leaving for the night and Michael was great to work with. 10 of 10!

Food was very tasty and flavorful! The waitress was friendly and prompt! And the restaurant was decorated very nicely! They have a very good happy hour, lots to choose from! And there was an oriental dancer as a show during dinner! I love this new location! So much better than the old one was too small! Will go again!

We continually take friends and family to Amar. We absolutely love Justin!!!! He’s such an amazing young man!! He is such a happy person and his attitude is almost infectious! Our guests commented on how Justin worked so well with other staff members. He’s a real keeper especially in the summer when business may slow down! He only had great things to say about Nicole, the manager. The food was extraordinary! Thank you for your great service! Respectfully, Robin

Our server Justin was excellent. Food was great and the happy hour deals were amazing. Loved the cauliflower and hummus were delicious.
