AMANO Rooftop Bar is located on the 7th floor and is the highlight of the AMANO Covent Garden. A rooftop bar with outdoor terrace and spectacular views of the London Eye, the Shard & the Shell Mex House is the perfect spot to finish the day with a drink, while the house DJ spins tunes as you soak up the spectacular panoramic views of London. Choose from an international menu of wines, Champagnes, a selection of cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. With a total capacity of up to 124 guests inside and outside. The rooftop is available for exclusive hire.

Rubbish! No service, waited at table for 15 mins without so much as a hello Staff disappeared to fetch some paper towels and left the area unattended Was planned weeks in advance, so poor When we complained the response was we are understaffed it’s not our problem!

It was my first time visiting the Amano rooftop yesterday for London Pride. It felt a bit disorganised. Firstly, our table wasn't available as folks were sitting there without a booking. When we got our table it was the furthest back from the DJ and entertainment. We did not have table service as expected. I had to go to the bar and ask how they were operating for Pride day. I asked one waitress for a menu and she disappeared and we didn't see her again. We did get our drinks brought to our table eventually but thought that £36 for 2 Aperol Spritz was a bit pricy. The whole vibe was not very friendly and other guests were a bit pretentious. Needless to say, 1 drink and we left. I don't think I'd return, sadly - but may give it another chance during normal operations. i.e. not on Pride day.

Great rooftop location and atmosphere. Tapas plates not gourmet but solid . Excellent Butterfly cocktail.

We just had cocktails before we went elsewhere for food. Great drinks, attentive staff and good atmosphere.

The welcome was frosty, the service from the waiters was terrible and forgot the drinks we ordered. There were seats available with heaters and these should have been given to people who were there first and no option to order a seat with heaters. In all, experience was not very good and could be a lot better than its worth.

Ok, we came here early evening, but hadn’t realised there was no tables to actually dine at. Sitting and eating outside was not an option as it was cold and raining. We sat at on low level seats, with even lower level tables which made eaten uncomfortable. The upside was that the food was actually really nice tapas.

Lovely bar but it took 35 mins for the staff to bring us a drink and we had to ask several different times. We also asked to move to a table in the sun and we were refused even though it was empty and had the same number of seats.
