A modern culinary concept that aims to combine local ingredients with techniques and preparations from across the world.

Located in Barrio Escalante, Amana offers an inviting, casual, and warm atmosphere right outside the heart of the capital; paired with creative dishes, attention to detail, and exceptional service.

Our kitchen is led by San Pellegrino Young Chef 2024 Regional Finalist (Latam & Caribbean) and Costa Rican winner of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs: Kenneth Ruiz.

Nos encantó la comida y el servicio. Nos mostraron todas las áreas del restaurante para que eligiéramos la mesa que más nos gustara. Los salones de la casa convertida en restaurante son acogedores aunque un poco pequeños y se pueden escuchar las conversaciones al lado. En nuestro salón había una mesa grande con un grupo y nosotros que éramos una pareja. Tal vez un poco de más volumen en el sistema de sonido ambiental hubiera mejorado la acústica. Sin embargo el servicio fue de primera con buenas recomendaciones de bebidas y maridaje. La presentación de los platillos exquisita. Solo lamentamos no haber podido probar los postres ya que tuvieron un problema con el helado ese día. Buena relación calidad precio, lo recomiendo.

My dining experience at Amana was truly exceptional! I had the Chef Table experience where you get a 5 course dinner with optional wine pairing. All items received are not available in the menu so every plate was a surprise with a perfect combination of flavors and textures. This goes in hand with the culinary concept of Amana which combines local ingredients with techniques from around the world giving each plate a unique flavor. The service is exceptional in addition to allowing interactions with the chef. I will definitely be going back to try their menu items!

Nuestra experiencia ayer en Amana fue excelente. El personal -como siempre- muy atento y con un trato excepcional. Era la primera visita al restaurante por parte de dos personas en la reservación y quedaron muy contentas. La comida con buen sabor y consistencia. Pedimos cada una: entrada, plato principal y de bebida para las tres una botella de vino. Estamos a la espera del nuevo menú para que probarlo lo más pronto posible.

We did the chefs tasting and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and had many unexpected flavors and touches. Everything was plated beautifully and the service was amazing. Really lovely people and space.
