Amalfi coast is a wonderful hidden gem on Kent Island. The food & cocktails & wine are absolutely delicious! we started off with Caesar salads, which were fresh and delicious. The pear and cheese stuffed pasta purses with blue cheese sauce is unbelievable! We started off with Caesar salads, which were fresh and delicious. My husband had the fish special with Inc. pasta, mussels, and clams and loved it although it was a huge portion he could not finish it so we took some home. The restaurant was very busy, and the tables were a little too close together, it felt a little cramped. Overall it’s great food and service..

The water had a distinct well water taste; perhaps a better filter is in order? Service during this visit was slow compared to previous visits. The bar was backed up so getting our glass of wine took more time than usual. Incorrect salad was delivered and then we waited to exchange and our entrees came before the replacement salad. No one checked on us in between; had that happened, the salad error could’ve been corrected before the entrees arrived. We were sitting outside, but it seemed the restaurant wasn’t staffed properly for a Saturday evening. We’ll try again another time.

Everything was incredible food/service wise. Only thing I would say is the dining room was a little hot/no air flow. A ceiling fan or 2 in there would rock. Again, everything else was incredible!

This was our first time dining at Amalfi, we are always trying new restaurants in Delaware and Maryland. Overall we dad a very nice experience at Amalfi, from our server Sarah to the ambiance and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back and will recommend the restaurant 😊

Mostly great but the antipasto misto used to have several types of cheese and meats. Not sure if they have changed the menu but this only had 3 small slices of mozzarella and very little meat. Not really shareable. I had the scallops and risotto - the scallops were chewy and not pan seared. Other dishes include gnocchi, steak and seafood and that was fine not wow. However server was fantastic and drinks awesome. Overall a good time.

Kent Island residents. Amalfi is our go to place for a nice dinner. Never disappoints. Service can be slow at times but last night was great. Only one thing not pleased about was the veal porterhouse special was sold out at 6:45. Otherwise all of was very nice. Server was knowledgeable,friendly and prompt. Drinks and food were excellent. Prices are reasonable.

Always amazing food and service. We drove 1 1/2 hours just because we miss eating here.
