This is the second time I've dined at Amal. I can't say enough about every dish being amazingly delicious. The service is impeccable. My Lebanese husband and I will be coming back again and again as we introduce friends to Amal's cuisine. We are very familiar with this type of cuisine and Amal chef cooks to mouth-watering perfection. We live in Ft. Lauderdale but the trip is worth it. Truly special.

Very nice decor and atmosphere. Food was very good and service excellent. Qualify as upscale dinning. Only critic is the price for a glass of wine, too high!

Have been wanting to visit since they opened, about 2 yrs. and finally made it. The place is very nicely decorated, very Florida/tropical looking. The service was excellent and attentive! We started with drinks at the bar, nice selectin of wines by the glass as well as cocktails. Moved on to the dining room, note they have outdoor sitting, which during cooler temperatures should be very pleasant. Our server Mihaela (?) was great, very pleasant and attentive, without been obtrusive. Appetizer: Muhammara & Kibbeh Nayeh. Excellent- and the portions are enough for sharing. Entrees: The Black Cod wonderful! skin nice and crispy; and the Kefta Kabab, the combination of beef, lamb and spices was perfect. Dessert: Kanaffe, it was good, but was the only dish that did not WOW. Found the cheese too chewy or maybe too much. Next time will try something else. They have an extensive wine list, nicely segregated by wine type and structure. Many are expensive but have several with moderate prices. We had a wonderful Chinon which complimented both the fish and the kebab. Looking forward to next visit.

Food is good but not so incredibly delicious that I'd be okay with paying 350$ + for a dinner for 5 , would not return due to value alone but otherwise a nice restaurant.

The food is great, but our waiter was in a very bad actitud… it is a shame because the good is good but out serving was terrible!

The food and ambiance were excellent, but the service didn't live up to the same standard. Upon being seated by the hostess, we were informed that a large group would need our table in about two hours, which set an unfortunate tone for the meal (ironically, only a party of four was seated as we left 1.5 hours later). After waiting about five minutes, the server arrived with water and took our drink orders. Ten minutes later, our drinks were served, but we were asked if we had any questions about the menu despite not having received it yet. Fortunately, the meal improved as the delicious food arrived and the server seemed to use his assistants to check in with the table. However, another disappointment was having to flag down the waiter for refills on drinks. While the food and ambiance were top-notch, the service was subpar, even by Miami standards.
