The new menu and chef’s specials are fantastic. Truly the best atmosphere and view on St Croix. We had the cheese board, smoked Caesar, filet and veal chop special…all was cooked to perfection and delicious. So glad Chef Booth is at helm…my new fav restaurant on STX. Pricey but the view and food are worth it.

Nice surprise to be seated by the grotto to see and hear the waves crashing right below us. The food was excellent. We started with the crab dip with toast points. For the entree we shared the seared tuna special with asparagus and polenta cake. And for dessert we enjoyed the honey ginger crème brûlée topped off with a lemoncello. Great signature cocktails to start off the experience. Worth the drive from anywhere on the island.

The food was delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits, followed by surf & turf and lamb chop. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. Then we had a fabulous dessert - banana pecan bread pudding. Very yummy!

If you want an outstanding dining experience, by the water, on the seaside terrace listening to and seeing the waves roll in and out on the rocks , catching a sunset over the ocean horizon, enjoying a fabulous meal, then this is the place you should be!

The service and the ambiance were the best. Our waiter was very attentive and courteous. The drinks were really good. My favorite was the Batida Rosa, but I also had a Mocktail Mojito, and Hemingway Daiquiri. I really wanted to try the Jungle Bird, but they are no longer making it as well as Pisco Sour. However, the bartender was very nice and made sure that I enjoyed my drink and answered any questions I may have had. Unfortunately, the food was less of a wow factor. A lot of the food on the online menu were not available as the restaurant is reportedly changing its menu items. We ordered the tuna ceviche and smoked Ceasar salad which were good but not great. There was too much dressing on the salad and not enough smoked flavor to distinguish it from its predecessor. I loved the seasoned plantain chips. For dinner, we had the Almond-crusted Mahi. Again, it was good but could have been improved upon if the Mahi wasn't overcooked and the sauce could have been more flavorful. Lastly, for dessert, we had the rum-flavored bread pudding with vanilla ice cream which we agreed was the best 'food item' on the menu that we tasted that night. We enjoyed it very much. Overall, AMA has an exceptional ambiance/atmosphere. However, I expected much more of the food especially, given its reviews and cost.

Exceptional food and drinks. My filet was the best I have ever had. You could cut with a fork. Very cool restaurant with beautiful views.

Beautiful view with a great sunset! Every dish was wonderfu, and our group tried most of the menu. Drinks were stellar also!
