Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

This was our third time at Alvins, first time partaking in their Prime Rib Dinner - which was generous, delicious and amazing. Customer service was excellent, as they took pictures for us, accommodated specific food requests and had one of their servers chase us down when we almost forgot our left overs. The live Jazz music was outstanding as well, overall a magical night that we won't soon forget. Thank you Alvin's, we will definitely be back.

If you enjoy music and food this is the place to go... Alwsys such a wonderful evening, can't fault them for service and food.

really good vibe, band and singer were excellent! Food was ok... average, definitely not Chairman or Major Tom quality, but decent. Great ambience, really good staff.. food need to be brought up a notch for the oeixw their charging.

We had a great experience at Alvin Jazz. It was our first time and I would highly recommend this place for Jazz lovers.

Been here a couple of times and unfortunately was under par this time. Service was slow, waited about 45 minutes between appetizers and mains. We had left to go to washroom, they cleared down the whole table, the mains came out, we were left without cutlery or plates while our food was left to go cold. Underwhelming for the price and it put abit of a dampener on our anniversary

We all had hamburgers and sadly they were dry which completely took away from our experience. Worst burger I've had a long time. Great location and wonderful music....a little loud if you want any table conversation.

Although I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance, when we showed up our table was given away to someone else and we are still not sure what happened... Anyway, after a few bumps we got another table, not the best, but we still enjoyed the ambience and the food. We will come back but will book a table directly with the manager.

This was fabulous! We had a party of four and sat at the bar for a starter bevvy amd then moved to our table for appetizers amd dinner. Service is very friendly and attentive, and matched our pace so we didn’t feel rushed. Food was delicious, so much so we forgot to take pix. The beef and bone marrow tartar was delicious. For the mains we had a mix of red meat and pasta across the four of us and everything was tasty, hot, and beautifully presented. Not being dessert people we tried the croissant and tiramisu anyway and shared, yum!! An after dinner scotch and we were very happy. Great time and attention from arriving to leaving. You won’t be disappointed here. The band can be loud but they are short sets so you still get lots of talking time in addition to good jazz.
