A throwback to the quintessential New York City dining experience of the 1930’s & 40’s, with a modern approach. Enjoy expertly curated wines, spirits and specialty cocktails.

Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that left a lasting impression. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was attentive, and the overall quality of both the dishes and the environment made for a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend!

Music was excellent. Not too loud even though we were right next to the stage. Service was very good; attentive but not hovering. Toast was soggy. Bennys and poutine very tasty. Bacon cooked just right. All-in-all a nice brunch with wonderful music in a lovely setting.

I brought a handful of people who had never been to Alvin's -- and, the team again provided us a great experience. From Matt overseeing our unusual reservation to Paul and Chase taking care of us at the bar, my newbies had a great time. All of our food dishes were of premium quality and the cocktails were skillfully crafted. Thanks, team!

Great time here! Paul and chase the bartenders were amazing! Best espresso martini in the city!!

We had a great time at Alvin’s Jazz Club for my wife’s birthday. The setting was classy with high-back chairs that were very comfortable. The food was delicious and portion was just right. The quartet played many classics today and some patrons enjoyed dancing in the little area in front of the stage, including my little one. My wife and kids love the restaurant.

Outstanding experience all around. It was our first time there and although we live inner city and have many options near by, this place is certainly worth the occasional trek. The music was really great, an extremely talented pianist. The volume was such that is was easy to enjoy without overtaking the possibility of conversation. The room is lovely, the seating is super comfortable, and the food and cocktails are great. 5 star across the board!

Everything else was really good but our food platter was cold!! We were so hungry we just started eating it. Tasty but cold. Service was great!

We took our guests to Alvin’s and none of us were disappointed!!! The food was amazing. Most of us had the prime rib dinner and salmon dinner. Very tasty, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server was accommodating, didn’t rush us, let us enjoy the music and was very pleasant. The music was gentle, great songs and breaks were taken so we could enjoy our own conversations. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, great decor. We throughly enjoyed our evening Sunday, October 27th.

Amazing brunch, amazing musicians. Portions on a big size so gladly starved ourselves before going. Will be back again and again.

I had a reservation for 9:30 and arrived at 9:25. I was asked to wait in the lobby while they prepared my table. After waiting for 20 minutes, I inquired about the delay and was told they were waiting for people to leave. I mentioned that I made the reservation to avoid this situation, but they assured me it would only be a couple more minutes. After waiting an additional five minutes, I expressed my dissatisfaction and left. This is not my usual experience there, but I will likely choose other venues in the future.
