A throwback to the quintessential New York City dining experience of the 1930’s & 40’s, with a modern approach. Enjoy expertly curated wines, spirits and specialty cocktails.

Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

The food, service from Farron, the band and the environment, could not be better. Amazing food and service with great live music. Had a wonderful experience and am looking forward to dining here again. Thank you so much. We are grateful to have such a great restaurant on this end of the city. Keep up the fantastic work!

This was our third trip to Alvin’s and it was spectacular! The beef tenderloin and short rib were both excellent! Always will be where we bring our out of town guests for a unique experience and delicious meal.

Great food, great service, really nice atmosphere. Went there for a birthday to try something different and it didn’t disappoint. The live music was very talented and the food was good. Our waitress was attentive and it was an overall great experience.

Great brunch experience at Alvins, this was my second time and still some great dishes I want to try. The only thing I don't like are some of their chairs, they are too deep and you end up feeling like you are at the kids table with the table height at your chest. The booths are much better, get one of those if you can.

Alvins is a go to staple in my dining experiences, it's always been a great experience, the food was excellent as per usual and the live music is always great. My date was vegan and the staff and kitchen were super accompdating even modifying a menu item to suite her needs. Emily our server was fantastic, attending to our every need, we did not have to wait for anything and she provided great conversation as well. Alvins is always a pleasure
