Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

This is the second time I have been here and second time I would have to rate the food as subpar. The first was high priced steak cut for dinner that was overcooked with a tasteless side dish. The second a Sunday brunch. Today the eggs Benedict arrived cold and you needed a steak knife to cut into it. We didn’t complain perhaps because no one checked back on us right away and just went on to eat the food. We still did mention it at the end so they were aware but without expecting anything. The music was good creating the enjoyable relaxed ambience. Won’t be rushing back again anytime soon because of the disappointing food experiences.

The only good thing that is worth noting was the live band, which we couldn't fully appreciate as we were seated behind a giant post that blocked the entire view. This place was a joke. Felt like a seniors cruise ship. Service was awful, food was worse. Do not recommend.

We recently visited Alvin's Jazz Club and had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, and the music was absolutely amazing. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. However, the experience started on a slightly awkward note when the host mentioned that we only had until 9 PM at our table because it was booked afterward. It wasn't the best way to begin an evening where we planned to stay after dinner and enjoy the music. Given the ambiance and the vibe of the place, it's clear that Alvin's Jazz Club is meant to be a spot where you can relax and not feel rushed. By 9 PM, there were plenty of empty tables for them to accommodate their reservations, and we were able to stay and enjoy our late night out. Despite this hiccup, it's still such a nice place, and we had a great time. Hopefully, in the future, the hosts can manage the table timings a bit more gracefully.

We had another great time at Alvin’s. Excellent food. Once again, the “blues and soul band“ got us and others to the dance floor. Anica’s service and attention along with Paul’s craftsmanship at the bar we’re reliably elevated.

Had an amazing evening on our Wedding Anniversary. This was our first time visiting Alvin's Jazz Club, but certainly not the last one. We are already planning to go and try the Sunday brunch.

Wonderful first experience 10/10. You would not regret it at all. Best diner I have gone in Calgary especially for the ambience, food, music, service etc.

This was our third time at Alvins, first time partaking in their Prime Rib Dinner - which was generous, delicious and amazing. Customer service was excellent, as they took pictures for us, accommodated specific food requests and had one of their servers chase us down when we almost forgot our left overs. The live Jazz music was outstanding as well, overall a magical night that we won't soon forget. Thank you Alvin's, we will definitely be back.

If you enjoy music and food this is the place to go... Alwsys such a wonderful evening, can't fault them for service and food.

really good vibe, band and singer were excellent! Food was ok... average, definitely not Chairman or Major Tom quality, but decent. Great ambience, really good staff.. food need to be brought up a notch for the oeixw their charging.
