Situated in the Carmel Plaza in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, our bistro offers beers from our R&D program crafted on a pilot five barrel brewhouse - the only of its kind in one of the most picturesque and famed coastal towns in the country. Featuring an expansive, 60+ seat outdoor patio and a full bar, along with an ample dining room that can be sectionalized for private events. And the food! The Bistro offers California coastal cuisine with a regional twist, utilizing locally sourced ingredients that vary with the season.

                                                                                                    Overall is was a good restaurant, however the kitchen lost our ticket and our food was delayed for quite a while. It would have been nice if the server had offer us some bread/butter, dessert or comp'd us for one our drinks.

                                                                                                    This place is wonderful. SOOOO Dog friendly, Staff is very pleasant, beer is wonderful, food is great and the price is great.. We love this place. Cannot wait to go back.

                                                                                                    I ordered Troublemaker red wine, a delicious Mediterranean salad like no other, cod, fish and chips. and finished off with a brownie sundae. All the delicious food was large shareable portions enough for two! I look forward to going back to the Alvarado Street Brewery.

                                                                                                    Reasonably priced delicious food. Unsure of what beer to drink-the waiter brought over 3 glasses of beer to help decide which one we wanted. Conveniently located in the Carmel Plaza.
