Food was excellent tasted amazing however I know everyone wants speedy service but this was ridiculous our starter came before our drinks order the moment I rested my fork on my plate it was taken and the main was brought out. Same with the dessert. It felt rushed, I took my daughter for dinner an no joke we was in fed a 3 corse dinner and out in just over an hour. Also I paid a deposit which I had to remind them to take it off so be very careful there if you go. Then the cheek of the waitress when I did pay asked me if I wanted my change which was almost a fiver. Shame really cause the food tasted amazing as I said.

Because ones this place a month or so ago to come with a group of friends. One had a peanut allergy so ensured I put this onto the booking notes. We chose this place for the food choice and cocktails. Cocktails did not disappoint however we were pretty disappointed that we could only pick food from the Xmas menu - at no point did they ever advise this on the site or on my booking. Then to make it worse, the friend with a peanut allergy chose a couple of dishes - no peanuts advised - but when ordering the steak, was told that they cooked the it in the same place as peanuts. I’m not sure why they could t have cooked the steak in a pan?? So, not only did we have a reduced menu anyway, but one of the group had even less to choose from - literally could only have 2 or 3 of the things on the menu. The food was good and service good but is honesty, we were really disappointed especially as this hadn’t been pointed out to us beforehand. In addition - and I know it’s a music bar too - but the music was so loud in the restaurant, that we couldn’t even speak to each other at ends of the table. I would have thought they could have turned the volume down a little where people were eating, even if it was louder in the bar area. Not sure we’ll be rushing back which is a shame cos there is a good vibe there.

went for team lunch, 3 course Christmas set menu, brilliant service and delicious very generous sized portions. very quiet for afternoon went at 12pm, clean and modern restaurant. highly recommend.

Lovely place with good food and nice cocktails. Second visit mainly returned for the food and to introduce a friend to the place. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon away from the hustle of the German Market.

Having been to Aluna previously - I was a little surprised to find it’s more like a club on a Saturday night. The food is amazing and the staff brilliant as they couldn’t hear anything we were saying during drinks and food orders ! I love club music, but the two just didn’t meet in the middle of! If there was a little partitioning between bar and restaurant (only enough to muffle the sound level down a little) this would make the experience so much more enjoyable. My Apple watch kept flagging unacceptable noise levels it was louder than a club for sure - that can’t be good for the staff working a full shift. It was impossible to hear the staff, dining companions and vice versa for them. Otherwise, such fabulous food, cocktails and staff

We were welcomed on arrival & the standard of service just went up. We only had just over an hour before we needed to leave for a show & they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was excellent as well as the cocktails. We will definitely be back.
