We loved the ambiance of your restaurant and the courtesy and kindness of the staff. We would love to see more options in your menu. I understand that it's California inspired but I believe California also serves burritos, chimichangas, nachos as such. As Floridians, this type of menu is very foreign to us, and it would be great to stretch out your menu to include these suggestions so we can see your restaurant thrive. It's a beautiful place and location. We hope to see you again soon! Thank you - especially to Ree our Server.

We found A'Lu while looking for a new restaurant on Open Table. The restaurant has a beautiful setting on a lake just south of Gateway between Congress and I-95. We highly recommend asking for a table outside, which has a view of the lake, but the indoor dining room and bar looked very pleasant as well. A'Lu is a high end Mexican restaurant. We tried the three-course menu, which is available during September, which is a great value. A toquilla pairing option is available. The short rib with mole sauce was outstanding. We were told that the sauce is made in-house and takes 70 hours to prepare, and we would order anything at the restaurant that involves their mole sauce. We were told that all of the desserts except the churros also are house-made, and the Tres Leche cake we tried was superb. The wait staff is very well trained and attentive. The music is cheerful and much softer and sophisticated than average Mexican restaurant musical fare. Parking is available and convenient. Overall, we will be back often.

Beautiful new authentic style Mexican restaurant in Boynton Beach. Lovely, spacious atmosphere with outside dining and views. The tacos were outstanding and a good size, not too small as in most places in FL. The flank steak was perfect cooked and delicious along with the rice and beans. Very flavorful. The homemade salsa was great as were the cocktails. Friendly service, with nice music (not too loud) and highly recommended!

Food & drinks were amazing! Service on point and the ambiance is super chill and comfortable. This is a gem in Boynton! Can’t wait to do brunch there.

Nice attention to service; best ambience in the Boynton area--outdoor dining will be ideal in cooler months. Beef tacos were tough and dry, and overall without any genuine flavor. Corn tortillas hard to borderline crispy--not worth a repeat try unless the kitchen gets a handle on long slow cook with meat, at low oven temps, and re-examines soft corn double tortilla servings. A good taco is neither chewy nor tough-it's melt in your mouth tender, through and through. Perfect this angle, and it's going to be the best Mexican restaurant in the area, no question.
