Altland House in Abbottstown is a classic inn and eatery that is housed within an expansive structure that dates back to 1790. Vintage themed décor and hints of modernism blend together to create a unique dining experience within a setting that is warm, inviting and casually comfortable. Altland House features brewery options as well as a food menu and catering is available for special events. unfortunately, we sat for 30 min before being waited on (some error) Not a big deal with us since we were not in a rush. Once we we were waited on service was very good. This could cause trouble with others. We will never use the booth again. The neighbor bounced constantly against my back, it felt like being on a flight with a bad toddler. The food was very good and we plan to return.

Great service! Terrible gray colored crabcake and cold greasy French fries. Won’t be back despite the great service.

Service was great, food was great. But my favorite was the drinks. Lavender Lemon Martini was amazing!

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Our server was very friendly and suggested some items. She was very attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely be coming back.

Everyone enjoyed their meals. Brussel spout appetizer never disappoints. Salmon was done perfectly as were the vegetables. We shared three different desserts for 4 of us and had no leftovers! Compliments to the bartender for my elderflower cosmo as well!

We had a great meal. The service was impeccable. We were not rushed and had a wonderful time. Lydia was our server and she was phenomenal. She was attentive and was a lot of fun to talk with. She ensured that we always had drinks and that we were completely satisfied. I would go back again and hope that she is our server again. Wonderful experience.

Altland House met all our expectations. The service efficient all questions were answered. The Baked Crab Starter was excellent. The main courses well presented and plentiful, we all left with a box for the next day. Desserts were tasty and nicely presented. Visit again "You Better Believe It" Recommend many times!!
