We enjoy this restaurant, but I feel that they’ve started skimping a little on items. And after eating there many times feel that they need to have some specials to add variety.

Food is good. Service was slow and not accommodating. We’ve been to the Wheaton location a couple times and enjoyed it better. Example: When my wife asked if we could sit at a table one over with more space than where he took us, he said it’s going to be crowded so it doesn’t matter. He then sat the couple that came in right behind us at the table she asked for. Waitress was good, but it seemed like their system causes delays and/or they need a little more staff.

Always enjoy Altiro’s in Aurora. Service is always exceptional and the food is consistently good. Try the street corn and the 3 guacamole sampler

Visted on 8/29/2024. Made reservations online easy to use . To have dinner at Altiro (Latin Fusion) in Aurora . Altiro is very near , the theatre Paramount in Aurora Illinois event we were attending. Very pleased greeted upon arrival for our 5pm reservation. The server very friendly helpful with ordering . The food has wonderful flavor . Drinks were homemade . Portions were good for sharing for two people. The food was made in a timely fashion . We had plenty of time to make it to theatre. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great options, server gave good suggestions, everything is so good! Love the guacamole trio and shrimp/chorizo tacos. I had the coconut margarita with beet puree, server told me it was sweet. I like sweet drinks but it was very sweet. I would try something else next time. Pineapple chipotle one is very good.

Everything on the menu is so amazing! My must-have every time is the tuna appetizer. It’s so delicious! The spinach salad is fantastic, the poblano Arborio rice and chicken is so good, the barbacoa is fantastic. We love the Patatas bravas (but I prefer it without the egg). The margaritas are always wonderful. I love this place!

Instead of having a single server take care of us, we had multiple servers. This was chaotic and even the same server would come back and ask us the same question that they had asked 5 minutes earlier. This happened several times. One of our dishes was the mussels. It tasted good, but 4 of the 13 mussels had not opened, making nearly 1/3 of our dish inedible. This should have been caught by the kitchen before sending it out. We informed (both) our servers (at different times) and after some back and forth, one of them came with our bill with the mussel dish price reduced by 1/3. The other dishes we had were enjoyable.

Altiro's was packed - it was a theater-going crowd. Kitchen & wait staff were more than up to the challenges of a full house. It's very interesting to watch how well they all work together. It was a bit loud, but we weren't trying to communicate to a large table or group. Food was really good. Great beginning to a great evening at The Paramount.
