Altezza restaurant at The Peaks Resort & Spa offers casual mountain dining with regionally sourced ingredients and panoramic Telluride views from both the restaurant and outdoor deck. We have the best view in town! Brunch is served from 7:30am-2pm, bar offerings from 2pm-9pm and nightly dinner starting at 5pm. Come see the sunset over Mt. Wilson! Located just a short walk from the gondola in Mountain Village.

To begin, while we made a reservation for the indoor dining area, the hostess asked if we would like to be seated indoors or outside on the patio, which we made it in time for sunset so we decided to take advantage of the restaurant’s beautiful views and sit outside. Following this, we were seated and not approached by a server for 20 minutes. At this time, I went to the hostess to inquire and she stated she would send someone right to us- 10 minutes later, a server finally came to take our order. Once our order was placed, the server brought us our drinks, however did not come back to see if we were enjoying them. Our food was brought to us and again were never checked in to see if we were enjoying the food, needed a second cocktail or a water refill, etc. finally, when we were nearly finished with our meal, the server’s trainee asked if we wanted dessert. During the middle of our dessert, he again brought us our check without again inquiring if we needed anything else. In addition, I ordered the airline chicken, which was incredibly dry, however again our server did not inquire with us as to how our meal was tasting. For this being a fine dining establishment and the amount of money spent, I am highly disappointed with the service we encountered. We had better service at all other dining establishments we ate at during our vacation which I would highly recommend. While the views at this restaurant are beautiful, I would not recommend others to come.

We had a wonderful experience at Alteeza. The view was amazing.The wings and potato leek soup were great for starters. My wife and I split the pear salad which was perfect and delicious. I had the trout and I can say, the skin was perfectly cooked to a crisp and I enjoyed every bite. My wife had the shrimp/scallop pasta which was utterly smooth and cooked perfect.

A bitter disappointment. The only redeeming quality was the view and you can get the view for free from the gondola. Food was average at best - very little flavor. Service was less impressive than what you get in a pizza or burger place. Server stood there looking at our empty wine glasses (we had a bottle on the table) and then proceeded to take my dirty knife out of my salad bowl and lay it on the table. Not sure why this is considered one of the best restaurants in the area. We sure won’t be back.

We had a wonderful experience. All of our food was fabulous, our waitress, and other staff, were right on top of it. Drinks excellent just an overall wonderful evening. The view is beautiful. I would recommend it as an excellent Telluride experience

Elk and halibut were quite good. Elizabeth, our server, was quite good. Fabulous view. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience, the service was excellent especially with our server Patrick and everything from the Brussels sprouts appetizer to the trout, which three people ordered, was delicious.

We had a large party and the table was set and ready. We had great service and our waiter was very attentive to everyone’s wishes.

We were struggling to find a nice sitdown restaurant for an extended family brunch in Telluride and Mountain Village. Altezza at The Peaks was the only one with good reviews. It didn't disappoint! The ambiance was beautiful, the service was excellent (thanks Adam!), the view was outstanding, and the food was delicious. My teen said it was the best pancakes she's ever had. There were about 6 or 8 options for breakfast, nothing too unusual but all well-made and delicious. We added the Truffle Fries as an item to share, and they far exceeded expectations.
