Altezza restaurant at The Peaks Resort & Spa offers casual mountain dining with regionally sourced ingredients and panoramic Telluride views from both the restaurant and outdoor deck. We have the best view in town! Brunch is served from 7:30am-2pm, bar offerings from 2pm-9pm and nightly dinner starting at 5pm. Come see the sunset over Mt. Wilson! Located just a short walk from the gondola in Mountain Village.

We were the only table in the whole place, was such a poor service all around. Drinks were watered down for $16 a cocktail, mosts of our orders were messed up and wrong. Asked for medium rare steak came out blue rare but yet it was burned and bitter on the outside. Pasta was uncooked and dry, fish was so dry, poor management, it was the worsted experience at any fine dining we ever had, please spend your money else where.

Incredible food and service was exceptional. They were the perfect balance of attentive while allowing us time to enjoy the experience. They were mindful with pacing of courses and each dish was perfectly seasoned and arrived hot. We will be back.

We chose this restaurant for its proximity to our condo rental in Mountain Village...what a find! From the magnificent views to the delicious food to the excellent service by Javier it was a very memorable evening. We loved the open room with it's ambient lighting and the relaxing music!

We are very disappointed in our experience. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with the multiple order mix-ups and the waiter's lack of knowledge of the menu. The manager had to keep coming to our table to correct the mix-up’s. We ordered burgers & it took three burgers coming out to finally get one that didn’t have the sauce on it that we had asked for multiple times. How difficult is it to take the correct order for a cheeseburger? It’s disappointing when service doesn't meet expectations, particularly in a beautiful dining environment. The views were the only positive part of the experience until they pulled the blinds down so we couldn’t even see the mountains. Highly recommend coming to take a picture of the view & then leaving. ***The manager did comp a few of our items which we were grateful for. It’s the least they could have done!

My rainbow trout was very good and others at the table seemed to really enjoy their choices as well. Service was friendly and attentive. My only issue might be that the food took nearly an hour to arrive (though we didn’t order appetizers, which would have softened the wait time) … hardly an issue when looking at the mountains through the dining room’s wraparound floor to ceiling windows!
