We ordered two salads, a Small pasta dish, an appetizer and a side dish. The salads were underwhelming. The chop salad with half the size of the Caesar salad. The service was a little slow at times And we’re glad we did not order dessert because we would not have made the event we were going to. We discussed whether it was a good place to have a holiday dinner and decided it was most likely too loud. In spite of that we might try to go another time.

Amazing food. Kind of surprised to find such high end Italian food in a town like Pittsburgh. Not to sound like a snob, but having grown up in a similar rust belt city, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the ambience. Everything from the blue cheese stuffed olive martini to the Caesar salad starter to the duck, was awesome. The waitress recommended an incredible wine by the glass from Tuscany. Two drinks, two salads, a pasta dish and a main course came out to be just a bit over $100 for two people. That’s incredible value for the quality of the food provided. I will definitely mark this one as a go-to place when I’m back in Pittsburgh.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with delicious food and drinks, beautiful ambiance and great service. We can’t wait to go back!

The food here is great. The perfect place to go before any cultural event or a game. Our server Mary was so helpful. She is a treasure and we will be asking for her when we come back. Jan & Tom

This was my second trip to this restaurant, the first for my business associate. We were not disappointed. The menu items offer definite variety from standard Italian fare you might find at other places, and the freshness, quality and ample portion sizes will satisfy even the toughest customer. Greens and beans were excellent, salads should probably be shared in order to allow room for main courses, and any veggie or pasta addons. Everything is fresh and plated in a pleasing manner to the eye. Our server, Mary, recommended a very good dry Italian wine. She took care of us throughout our dinner, despite the fact her and the rest of the wait staff were extremely busy for a mid-week (Wed) night. We will be back.

We ordered the spaghetti with crab and it was delicious. A half order was the perfect amount. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere.

We had reservations prior to going to a show downtown. We had to wait for our table despite having made reservations. It was incredibly busy and there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. It seemed very chaotic. We were seated and then ordered our food which was average at best. The service was slow probably due to how busy it was, and I felt bad for our server who seemed stressed and kept apologizing for the wait. I won’t be rushing back! Very disappointing.

My friend and I had the romaine salad and the swordfish. Food was delicious, cooked well and had great presentation.
