    It was our first time at Via Alta and a great dining experience. The food and service were excellent. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

    We have eaten here several times before. Usually the food and service is great. However, tonight there was a substantial delay in getting our mains, and the food was barely warm when it finally came to our table. The server was left on his own to struggle to explain what the issue was. Not sure after tonight we will be returning soon.

    This restaurant has become our place to celebrate birthdays and it never disappoints. Brian took care of us on fine fashion and as always the food was excellent. It’s always such a pleasant evening.

    Started our meal with a shared caesar salad. Ordered butternut squash ravioli and Lumache (beef & pork Bolognese). The butternut squash was excellent served in sage brown butter and hazelnuts. Dustin, our server, was pleasant and helpful with choosing wine to go with the butternut squash. He double checked with the bartender and brought a white and red to taste. He was knowledgable about the menu. Dustin was attentive.

    Food was excellent as usual. I called the day before to try to add another guest and was told it wasn’t possible. Disappointed to see when we had arrived that it was definitely possible. Server was not good. A former restaurant owner was at our table and commented that she not be working at a restaurant of that caliber.

    Outstanding quality and quantity of food (especially the huge chicken parm) and beverage items, and excellent service. Bravo!

    Excellent pasta choices and good selection of wines. Service was impeccable (Dustin was quite charming and very efficient). Olive cake was a bit of a disappointment...seemed dry. Otherwise wonderful meal!

    Second disappointing meal here in last two weeks. Grilled corn salad was overwhelmed with black Pepper. Mussels were fishy tasting and an odd texture. This has been our go-to. Something has changed.
