    Everything the waitress recommended was divine! Freshly homemade pizza and pasta made in front of you. Ambience was also very warm and vibrant. Excellent service and amazing food!

    Good environment in a charming heritage building on a more quite residential part of the town. House beer was nice.

    First time back since the change of ownership so while expecting another great evening we were also treated to a change in vibe. Another great evening was had, super friendly and funny service with some friendly banter which added to the evening festivities with well presented meals that were as good as they looked. Our meats were prepared and cooked to request and the pasta dishes were all met with approval, you see we hand make our own pasta so the criteria bar is very high. Looking forward to going back to try more dishes.

    One star for the friendly waitress, food was average, sticky date pudding was just warm, cold butterscotch sauce, pudding had white lumps which looked like mixture not beaten enough, will not return.

    What a great find in the back streets of Alphington, very close to the Alphington train stn so easy to get to. Was greeted promptly and shown our table which was right beside the open fire, a great spot. The drinks list was well thought out and good to see some wines by the bottle still under $50, a rarity these days and they were good wines. Menu items sounded delicious and we ordered three from the entrees and a pizza for our main. The eggplant chips were so delicious and the gamberi white base pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had, a big call I know. For dessert we shared the tiramisu, was a generous serve and very delicious. Well worth a visit and we will be back, oh check out the daily special all were very attractive.

    Wasn’t super busy and we were tucked around the corner. Felt a bit forgotten so had to go to the bar to order more drinks. Fish was beautifully cooked but too much asparagus. Would have been nicer to have more veg.
