We serve simple tasty home-style cuisine with hearty goulash, dumpling specialties, Kässpätzle and a savoury snack plate as well as a sweet finish with a selection of traditional Alpine desserts like Marillenknödel, Dampfnudeln, Palatschinken or apple strudel.

Super cute restaurant! Loved the environment created! Food was great too! We went for brunch. Would have loved brunch and lunch menus, but enjoyed what we had non the less.

We had our worse meal in Vail at Alpenrose Vail. The food was inedible. All of us left disappointed with the quality of our food especially as we all love German food. The service is fine. Overall, we would not recommend and will not be returning.

Excellent food that always hits the spot. The ambience is cozy and romantic. We always love the Rockies and roses schnitzel. The food comes out quickly and it’s fresh and delicious. This is a must visit for us every time we visit Vail.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went above and beyond. The ambience was unmatched and the food was great as well. Highly recommend!

Back porch was windy and chilly with no heaters. Blankets were provided. Food was excellent. Service was fine. Wouldn’t want to sit in that location again.

This place is magical. Food is authentic Austrian/ German and the ambience cozy Alpine. Being German, living away from home, I always enjoy this precious treat.

We sat on the porch. Lovely atmosphere. I had the snitzel, my son had the bratwurst. Both were excellent. You have to try the pretzel with cheese! So good! The lager and Pilsner were both good too! Make a reservation as it’s a popular restaurant, for good reason.
