Absolutely wonderful experience! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went above and beyond. The ambience was unmatched and the food was great as well. Highly recommend!

Back porch was windy and chilly with no heaters. Blankets were provided. Food was excellent. Service was fine. Wouldn’t want to sit in that location again.

We sat on the porch. Lovely atmosphere. I had the snitzel, my son had the bratwurst. Both were excellent. You have to try the pretzel with cheese! So good! The lager and Pilsner were both good too! Make a reservation as it’s a popular restaurant, for good reason.

Wonderful service and delicious brunch. Sat outside next to all the gorgeous flowers. Loved it.

Charming restaurant with Bavarian cuisine. Lots of wurst. Remember to check out the desserts inside the restaurant.

We go to Alpenrose every year. Love the place as it reminds us of Europe- however the cheese fondue was a little thin this time around. Service could have been more attentive- was in spurts but she tried hard.

The food options were not the same ones listed in the vail food magazine, which was only mildly annoying. The big problem was all the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all night- which I KNOW it was because it all arrived less than 3-5 minutes after ordering. After living in Germany several years it was highly disappointing. None of the food was cooked to order and was stale from the heat lamp. The entire experience felt rushed and more like a fast food experience. The cost of the food was not on par with quality or experience. Any *basic* small restaurant in any town or village in Germany can blow this place out of the water in all categories- for a margin of the price this place charges.
