We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.

We had such a fun meal at Aloette! The staff is extremely kind and the food was amazing and surprising, creating a positive experience all around. Highly recommended!

One of my favourite restaurants of all time. They take great pride in the food they send out and it shows. If you go for new years be ready to eat!

Incredible birthday celebration as well as to kick off new years! We were treated with the grand experience from the start. Every dish and cocktail was perfectly balanced and our hearts were full in addition to our tummy’s! Thanks for making it very special. Will be returning again.

The whole experience was outstanding. Food meticulously prepared, world class service and great ambiance. My only suggestion would be with the musical selection. Other than that amazing experience.

Fantastic food, small restaurants so you need to book reservation. They are mentioned in Michelin guide for last two years and they deserve it. 😊

Good food. Great service. Not a place to linger. Music and ambience caters to a younger crowd. Hard to have an intimate conversation.

This place did not disappoint. Excellent food, everything we had (4 people sharing) was just amazing. Service was great, some good recommendations from our server on how many dishes to share. Save room for dessert too - a small but mighty dessert menu! One small criticism was that we felt a bit rushed at the end, they had a booking after us at 9:30pm - tables of 4 have 2 hours I guess, but we weren’t seated until 7:45 for our own booking. It just felt like it brought the dinner to a very abrupt end!
