We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.

We hope you love our little diner as much as we and our team do.

There was a delay on one of the dishes I ordered. The waitress updated me regularly on the progress and when I can expect it. Because of this delay, we didn’t get charged for it and the chef gave us a dessert for free. Overall the food and experience was great. I would definitely come back again

The food was great( the service not up to the usual high standard. I wonder if the new location has taken some of the veteran staff.

This was really good place, thought its not Michelin star but it’s on their guide. The lamb skewers and butternut squash combination is amazing. It’s a bit pricy but its worth the experience once awhile

Food is absolutely on point and delivers big flavours! Cocktails are dangerously delicious! An absolute must try for a food bomb experience.

Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff were all so welcoming and helpful!! The hype around the lemon meringue pie is spot on as well, I'm pleased to say. It's absolutely delicious and luxurious and beautifully presented, as are all their dishes!

It’s a nice environment with a long bar with about 12 seats. The cocktails are good. Our food was salty but you may enjoy that. Overall a good experience but I wouldn’t come back because food was too salty. We ordered 4 mains, 2 sides and 2 cocktails. Total came out to 216 plus tip.

Main dish: scallop and potato were way to salty. Don’t understand why playing Kanye West all night, disrupt the dining experience.

Very good quality food. We had Sunday brunch and tried 4 dishes. Pork belly , escargot, and poached egg was my favorite. Price is a bit expensive for brunch. Restaurant is quite small. Aperol cocktail was great too!
