Alobar Yorkville is tucked along a pathway in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. It puts its foot forward as a cocktail bar, but it is a full-fledged Michelin recommended à la carte restaurant, offering choice seafood with the finest accoutrements, fish and chops off of the charcoal grill, and world-class wines, all served with genuine hospitality. Alobar Yorkville boasts a comfortable courtyard patio merging warm skies with ice cold cocktails during the summer.

Food was excellent as always and service this time was unreal. The waiter was beyond friendly and couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!!

Creo que es un poco sobrevalorado, los sides llegaron a destiempo de los platos preparados, y creo que la persona encargada de explicarnos el menú, no se tomó el tiempo necesario para hacerlo.

The absolute worst fine dining experience we have ever had. They took forever to serve the courses and essentially kicked us out when they needed the table for the next reservation. If you need to stick to your reservation schedule, serve your courses more quickly. They put the desserts down and brought the bill. Followed up by 3 other reminders that we needed to leave for the next guests. Will never go back. Much better food and far better service at many other restaurants around the city.

Hello Mona, Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We do clearly communicate at the time of booking that reservations are allotted a two-hour dining window. While we did our best to accommodate your requested table and extend your experience beyond the standard timeframe, after 2.5 hours we did need to transition the table for our next reservation. There was a slight delay with the dessert course, and for that we apologize. That said, the remainder of your meal was served within the standard pacing we aim for. We understand how this may have still felt rushed toward the end, and we apologize if that impacted your overall impression.
