Alobar Yorkville is tucked along a pathway in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. It puts its foot forward as a cocktail bar, but it is a full-fledged Michelin starred à la carte restaurant, offering choice seafood with the finest accoutrements, fish and chops off of the charcoal grill, and world-class wines, all served with genuine hospitality. Alobar Yorkville boasts a comfortable courtyard patio merging warm skies with ice cold cocktails during the summer.

    We had been looking forward to trying Alobar Yorkville for quite some time now. Sometimes the anticipation can cause a little bit of a let down. But, I'm happy to say this was not the case. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The two of us shared a few appetizers, the lobster, sirloin and spinach. Each dish was presented perfectly and the taste was flavourful and with a little touch of a surprise element within each dish. We will return, as well as recommend this comfortable dining destination to anyone who appreciated quality and service.

    The food was off the charts!!! Beef carpaccio might be best I have ever had. Oysters were so fresh! Beef au poirve lobster and duck was so special. Will be back over and over!!!

    Literally the best restaurant in TO. The staff are amazing and the food is an experience that I can’t get bored from!

    It felt like a fast food place, loud radio style music, great food, but too rushed by over attentive servers. I wanted a more custom dining experience, where food is an experience. A nice "formula" restaurant.

    Alo Bar Yorkville offers an exceptional dining experience. We tried the Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Sea Bream, Confit Duck Pappardelle, Foie Gras Parfait, and Banana Cream Pie. Each dish was perfectly prepared, with standout flavors like the chive aioli on the carpaccio and the rum caramel in the banana cream pie. We opted for the Flight 199 mocktail, and the server thoughtfully split it into two glasses for us without being asked, enhancing our experience. The ambiance is relaxed and the location is prime in Yorkville. The server was very helpful, providing all necessary menu details. They open at 5 PM, but note they don’t have happy hour like their downtown location. Overall, a wonderful evening with attentive service and delicious food. Highly recommended!

    This place is heaven. There’s not a miss on the menu. The staff are wonderful and it couldn’t be a nicer experience.
