Alobar Downtown is nestled in the heart of Toronto's bustling Financial District. Alobar Downtown offers revelry in the bar and lounge and warmth in the dining room, both featuring menus from Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss. World class wines are displayed as a centrepiece to pair with choice seafood, grilled fish and prime chops. All served with genuine hospitality.

Join us for happy hour on weekdays from 2.30pm-5.30pm. Available at our bar, lounge, and our covered and heated patio.

We feature live DJ sets Wednesdays through Saturdays starting at 5pm!

For groups of 11+, please book our Group Dining, Family Style Experience or contact us at info@alobardowntown.com.

For groups larger than 8 guests, we are unable to provide individualized bills, however we are able to process as many payments as required.

Had a great time! Charlotte was absolutely amazing and attentive to her guests' needs. Very knowledgable about the menu, food was good and drinks were stellar! Would absolutely come back!

Service was horrible, took 20 minutes for a server to come over, 1/2 an hours for our drinks to arrive, another 20 minutes for the next round of drinks. FOOD: apps were OK. The plates you see for the salads are far from what the pictures show. Very small except for the Ceasar salad. as for the main courses, VERY SALTY including the side vegetables we ordered. Desserts were the best. I don't mind paying highend prices with good quality of food and service but my bill was a waste of $855.00. I really don't know how this restaurant will survive. Its in the heart of downtown, restaurant was 1/2 empty on a Saturday night. That definitely shows something. If it wasnt for the bus server, we would be eating with ours hands! Had to ask for side plates and silverware. Save your hard earned money, go elsewhere, where they do care about quality service and food.

This is my fourth time coming back. The noise level is super loud during lunch this time. I didn't remember being that loud. It was a business lunch so it was a bit difficult to have a conversation. Food is still amazing. I was surprised the Dover sole meal is just a piece of fish, literally nothing on the side. Not even a single piece of vegetable and no option in the menu to indicate " sides" to add.

First time in Alobar Downtown and it lived up to the Alo brand. Food was excellent. Service was superb. Great vibes and music from the in house DJ as well! Many thanks to Christian and Charlotte for taking great care of us! Looking forward to returning and enjoying the patio!

Dinner was spectacular. We basically ordered the entire menu, and everything was amazing. The somm helped us pick a great btl of red that paired with our mains, and the banana cream pie was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back.

Service was average at best. Very unprofessional and pushy. Food was delicious but will not be rushing back.

I thought the food was good, but nothing amazing - especially for the price. I picked this place because I thought it was going be quieter for lunch, but it was actually very hard to hear each other at the table. Very busy and lively spot however they manage to have really quick and friendly service during peak times which is great.

steak was salty - very salty. cheesecake curst was burnt. dissapointed in food. service was excellent.
