Alobar Downtown is nestled in the heart of Toronto's bustling Financial District. Alobar Downtown offers revelry in the bar and lounge and warmth in the dining room, both featuring menus from Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss. World class wines are displayed as a centrepiece to pair with choice seafood, grilled fish and prime chops. All served with genuine hospitality.

Join us for happy hour on weekdays from 2.30pm-5.30pm. Available at our bar, lounge, and our covered and heated patio.

We feature live DJ sets Wednesdays through Saturdays starting at 5pm!

For groups of 11+, please book our Group Dining, Family Style Experience or contact us at info@alobardowntown.com.

For groups larger than 8 guests, we are unable to provide individualized bills, however we are able to process as many payments as required.

The beet salad and sirloin were great! Duck was crispy but the accompanying pasta lacked a bit of flavour for me. The bread was a bit hard which was a shame because it’s always been perfect other times I have come (perhaps just an off night). Our waitress was wonderful as well as the other staff ❤️

The food was very nice. The biggest problem was the service. No sooner than we received our drinks than dinner was served. We felt very rushed. This was a special occasion meal and we were in-and-out in an hour. Not the way to serve at an upscale restaurant. Disappointed.

Service was very good. Food was a little salty than I like. The restaurant was too noisy for a casual social dinner.

it is a bit noisy - energetic is good but when you have to shout to be heard it gets a bit frustrating. Everything else other than that is outstanding.

It was good. For the price paid I sort of hoped for a bit more but it was good. The food was fine. There was nothing wrong with the meal, it just wasn’t WOW. The wait staff was great and overall vibes were good.

The experience was underwhelming. The service was bad for a top 100 restaurant. Server and waitress didn’t give the right attention to the customers. Very transactional. Felt being rushed by the waitress.
