At Alo, we are getting back to the roots of hospitality. We want each and every guest to feel welcome in our home and to enjoy the classically prepared, meticulously thought out French food and service presented in a five-course tasting menu in our dining room.

To compliment our menu and enhance your experience we will provide wines that engage your mind and dazzle your palate. We seek the best and most interesting winemakers – people who take their craft as seriously as we take our food and service.

The Bar at Alo will provide sharable small plates that allow guests to simply snack or create a delicious dinner inspired by the menu in the main dining room. Our cocktail program presents a selection of cocktails that are classic, refined and very French.

Our Kitchen Counter features bar-style seating and faces our open kitchen for an engaging dining experience. The Kitchen Counter offers a blind multi-course tasting menu, including luxurious menu items and special courses from our Chefs. Please note that we are unable to accommodate vegan/vegetarian tasting menus, dairy allergies, seafood/shellfish allergies, or aversions to raw meat/seafood. Please reach out to info@alorestaurant.com at your earliest convenience before booking if your party has any dietary restrictions. The kitchen counter tasting menu is offered at $285 per guest and does not include beverages, gratuity or tax. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the tasting menu per guest.

Join us in our dining room for a new tasting menu that features the best ingredients we can source. Our menu is internationally inspired and prepared using classic French technique. Please note that we are unable to accommodate vegan/vegetarian tasting menus, dairy/egg allergies, seafood allergies or aversion to raw meat/seafood. If there are any dietary concerns within your party, please reach out to info@alorestaurant.com at your earliest convenience before booking a reservation. The tasting menu is offered at $225 per guest and does not include beverages, service charge and tax. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the tasting menu per guest.
Private Dining Room

Alo's private dining room, equipped with its own bar and kitchen, offers a six-course tasting-menu for up to 14 guests. This unique dining experience begins with a cocktail reception featuring a glass of sparkling wine and a trio of canapés. The pricing for this experience is $295 per guest exclusive of beverages, HST & 20% service charge. Wine pairings are available for an additional $125 per guest. Our private dining room is also available to be booked for lunches. The nine course tasting menu with wine pairings was absolutely delicious. The staff was kind and attentive and sitting at the kitchen bar was such an interesting experience. It felt like being front row on a cooking show - watching meticulous plates being created. Very much enjoyed our evening!

This is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion, or person you care about, or even to splash out with a foodie friend. Constant tasty surprises from the kitchen, delivered with a smile by knowledgeable servers. Sommelier a delight and helpful. Great location with the "cool" factor in a vintage red brick Toronto building. Lots of attention to detail but the amazing food is the big star here. Special and unforgettable.

The second tasting brought tears to my eyes and my husband’s Fitbit alerted him of an increased heart rate twice during our divine dinner. We absolutely loved our evening and all of the staff are charming, intelligent and kind. True class. It was the kind of unexpected fun that we will remember for a lifetime. It’s a happy place and the food is Michelin star worthy. Sending love from Detroit. We will definitely be back.
