Looked on website and food looked great. Don’t expect a big burger ( I did ) as shown on there web pages, it isn’t. I could have had 2 no problem. Took an hour to arrive, people that arrived after us were getting their food first, when it came it was cold and had to be sent back. When it did arrive back it was very good but wouldn’t be happy paying full price for what we got. Won’t be going back

Disappointed with the service and food quality: 1. We arrived without a booking and were turned away, even though we later saw online that a table would be available in 10 minutes. The waiter could have offered us the option to wait, but this wasn’t suggested. 2. We booked a table for 7:30 PM and ordered two burgers and chips, but the food didn’t arrive until 8:35 PM. Waiting over an hour for such simple dishes is unacceptable. 3. The chips were cold and inedible, which suggests they were prepared earlier and left to sit while the burgers were being cooked. This experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to others.

This was my first time at almost famous I was quite looking forward to it for my partners birthday although the food was not that great we did wait awhile but I just put this down to been 6 of us so I thought ok but then when the food arrived it didn’t taste or look fresh the food weren’t that warm nor hot it all just seemed overcooked or like it had been sat for awhile I don’t know! One of the guys got some of loaded fries which I wish I’d of got as they looked so good! I always give places benefit of the doubt and always say I’ll return again as it could of just been a bad day but honestly I would not return I’m just glad the time we went it was half price on the burgers through January so we didn’t pay full price which I’m glad about!

Myself and friend visited and we both got the same burger phoenix. He is a veggie so asked for the veggie version and I got the beef and asked for no bbq sauce. When they arrived the burger sizes seemed a lot smaller than usual. On first bite i realised it had bbq sauce on. When I told the server she said it’s shouldn’t have and paused then said are you sure it’s not bacon mayo and I said no and she then offered to replace. The replacement came back quickly but at this point my friend had eaten his burger and the fries were sharing had gone. Then when mine arrived he looked at it and said that looks really different in size and whats on it to what was on mine. I was disappointed in this visit as last time I was there it was fab! I hadn’t realised when we paid that there was a service charge until my friend mentioned it as I would have asked for it to be removed for the inconvenience that was caused and as a nice gesture!

Tasty and plenty to eat. First time and wood highly recommend this place. Service excellent and friendly staff.

Really poor. Table not ready for our booking when we arrived. Had to ask to take our order. Took well over an hour for the food to arrive and then arrived cold. Didn't have time to send it back.

We arrived at 18:00, drinks and food ordered at about 18:10. Didn’t get a drink until we mentioned that we hadn’t got our drinks at 18:40. The server we had was fine, he was very apologetic and explained that they were understaffed. But given it was a city centre, middle of the week, near Christmas, and there was a pretty decent sized gig on at the arena 5 mins away, this has to be accounted for! The food turned up at 19:10. My order was incorrect (plain burger was brought with no toppings) and then this went back to the kitchen and came back with a token tomato and pickles thrown on (by this point pretty cold) and two of the other guests ordered chicken burgers. Which were burnt beyond belief. Bone dry and almost black. When we mentioned it to the server he did offer to take it back, but by this point we decided to leave it given how close it was to event starting. I work over the road at the hospital so have been here plenty of times. Shame that this is obviously a bad experience but will change my decision about coming back.
