A delightful food experience located in the heart of DC. The fish and spaghetti dish reminded me of visiting my Wife"s home in Chicago. Job well done Danielle.

Almeda is a wonderful restaurant serving Jamaican-style food, very tasty and quite spicy. To start, my wife had watermelon and crab salad, and I had spicy spare ribs, which we liked very much. For our main course, we shared the whole chicken which was an enormous and delicious feast. We loved it. We were too full for dessert. The service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for such a great evening! We brought our child for an early Friday evening dinner and the staff was incredibly kind and considerate of our needs feeding a kiddo. There was a plate made especially for him with kid versions of the meal we had (which was slightly spicy). It was the perfect family ambiance. 10/10

Chef and Owner Dani was amazing to watch in her element. Unique and memorable dishes from the diaspora alongside some delicious wine and cocktail selections. Definitely an experience. I will be back for sure.

Everything we got was incredible, but the jollof risotto blew my mind! Very friendly staff, delicious cocktails, cute dining area. I immediately told all my friends, can't wait to visit again!

Overall great experience. If you’re look for an innovative and delicious meal, this is the place! I went there for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Well crafted cocktails and good food. Will definitely be back.
