ALMA is a Mexican restaurant that celebrates Mexico’s rich culinary history by incorporating authentic ingredients and cooking techniques into its menu, while making modern modifications to delight Angelenos.

A unique two-story concept, the ground floor of ALMA is comprised of a walk-up taqueria and marketplace, which sells imported Mexican novelties and fresh ingredients, such as hand-pressed tortillas from ALMA’s kitchen. The fine-dining restaurant, located on ALMA’s second floor, serves authentic Mexican cuisine served with a Southern California twist.

Grupo Hunan's first venture outside of Mexico, inspired by Baja California's raw, coastal landscape, sun-kissed flora, and vibrant food culture. Grupo Hunan has been a mainstay of the Mexican restaurant scene for 30+ years, satisfying all the senses.

For us, being together is the way of life. We invite you and yours to come in, share some platillos, clink some glasses, and -most importantly- ENJOY the mexican culinary experience.

We had a really nice time, we had a reservation at 11:30am but we got there half an hour early I asked the hostess if we could be seated early and she was kind enough to let us. We really enjoyed everything about our experience there, from the food, ambience and the kind staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

Reservations for two first time trying the restaurant the food was such good me and my boyfriend love the ambience of this restaurant. Food wise there enchiladas was on point taste and steak was just so delicious. Really enjoyed it.

The upstairs is so beautiful. Great ambiance. We sat by the balcony windows and the breeze was wonderful. Our server was amazing. She was friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The food, unfortunately, was fairly disappointing. I ordered the shrimp fajitas. The shrimp were hysterically tiny, smaller than a dime. The vegetables were undercooked. The bean dip was encrusted with a thick melted cheese which made it impossible to dip into. My husbands enchiladas seemed a bit tastier. Great chips and salsa, though! We also had a refreshing spicy margarita. I would say overall, it's definitely a decent place to hit up if you're coming or going from a movie and are in the movie for a little Mexican nibble and margarita.

The outside rooftop was an absolute amazing experience. The food was incredibly delicious. The service was perfect overall very good experience as a first time person going there.
