ALMA is a Mexican restaurant that celebrates Mexico’s rich culinary history by incorporating authentic ingredients and cooking techniques into its menu, while making modern modifications to delight Angelenos.

A unique two-story concept, the ground floor of ALMA is comprised of a walk-up taqueria and marketplace, which sells imported Mexican novelties and fresh ingredients, such as hand-pressed tortillas from ALMA’s kitchen. The fine-dining restaurant, located on ALMA’s second floor, serves authentic Mexican cuisine served with a Southern California twist.

Grupo Hunan's first venture outside of Mexico, inspired by Baja California's raw, coastal landscape, sun-kissed flora, and vibrant food culture. Grupo Hunan has been a mainstay of the Mexican restaurant scene for 30+ years, satisfying all the senses.

For us, being together is the way of life. We invite you and yours to come in, share some platillos, clink some glasses, and -most importantly- ENJOY the mexican culinary experience.

Dining with Maximo as our server was an absolute delight from start to finish. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism elevated our evening to an unforgettable experience. From the moment we sat down, Maximo made us feel welcomed, ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. The service was seamless—plates arrived promptly, glasses were never empty, and Maximo anticipated our needs with remarkable intuition. Thank you so much for the outstanding service provided to me and my family on my daughters sweet 15th birthday we spent it well, food was great and the restaurant is pet friendly with currently having a puppy I was able to have my puppy there to celebrate my daughters birthday. Thank you so much!

Food is great! It was cold out and they didn’t have enough heaters with the indoor/outdoor open windows/doors. We were freezing! Service was friendly but slow. Ambiance inside was industrial feeling versus warm and inviting. I would go back for the food if it was warm outside :)

The manager Armando treated us so nicely and made our experience remarkable. The restaurant was also amazing but he truly made it memorable with how attentive and accommodating he was.

Very tasty food. Service is professional and the place has a great vibe. Great for all occasions. A wonderful place to eat after you enjoy the Grove and Farmers Market.
