Allen's is reminiscent of a New York City saloon from ages past. The tin ceiling, the wood floors and the cozy old bar make it an experience in itself. Yet Allen's also has a fabulous menu that is sure to inspire and delight.

With more than 300 kinds of whisky, more than 100 wines and over 140 beers, it will satisfy your need for liquid refreshment. The food is pub fare improved thanks to the reliance on organic and locally raised meats and careful preparation. Burgers, salads, soups and so much more await those who pay a visit to Allen's.

    The back patio is lovely. Just had a drink, but quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Highly recommend.

    Normally good food and have eaten there for many years. Crappy little vegan pizza and the worst Ahi Tuna salad ever seen. Brown chunks of tough old tuna soaked in salad dressing. Inedible. A bad night in the kitchen maybe ?

    Super over priced burger and fish and chips. Great wine. Sat indoors because it was raining and it was really loud. There are better places to grab a Friday night casual dinner (though their brunch on the patio is fantastic)

    Yummy tuna Niçoise salad with matchstick fries on the side. Sat inside to enjoy the air conditioning. Lovely service as always.

    I was treated to an early birthday lunch and we dined on Sunday June 30- we had a 1 pm reservation. My friend ordered Allen's famous hand-ground burger topped with goat cheese (which I will definitely try next time). I ordered fish and chips and the halibut was cooked to perfection as were the hand-cut fries. My friend also ordered their organic greens salad. We toasted with a glass of Pinot Grigio and Tawse Rose`. Our meals were delicious and our service provided by Anthony was excellent. We also shared a piece of Guinness chocolate cake to complete the celebration. Thanks, Anthony, for making our experience lovely (as you always do).

    We sat out on the patio which is in the back of the restaurant away from the street - lovely space. The food was good and the staff was friendly and professional.
